Part of the House & Home series.

This original painting shows another converted building, this time a small barn! I'm imagining that this has been given the full better homes and gardens treatment on the inside, and that the bedrooms still smell faintly of hay.

This series of paintings came out of a personal worry that I might never have the opportunity to be a homeowner, and watching the unhoused population where I live expand more than 400% in the last few years.  I want a home, I want everyone to have a safe and warm place to rest, engage in their hobbies and thrive. 

50% of the sale price of this work will go to Out of the Cold Community Association who offer dignified supported housing, and more to those experiencing homelessness.
